Chillingly Beautiful.

We were freezing.

Literally. I felt sufficiently scared to actually check her pulse as her breathing rate was so low.

The views along the way may have been beautiful, but they were chillingly so.

The current age has made complacent travellers in many of us.

This time, I was one such traveller. No sight in the world is worth the life of anyone.

I hope to never be so unprepared again.
